Airport Pickup
Chiang Mai Buddy will be waiting at your arrival gate with your personalized name sign, then take you and your bags directly to your pre-booked place of stay. No need to worry about navigating directional signage you don’t understand or struggling to explain to a Thai-speaking cabbie how to get to someplace you’ve never been, nor can even pronounce.
Accommodation Booking
Each apartment complex recommended by Chiang Mai Buddy has been vetted by our staff using an extensive checklist specific for longer-term accommodation in Chiang Mai. We know from our experience what qualities and services make for a comfortable and enjoyable experience for both the younger and older person. Chiang Mai Buddy helps you make the best accommodation choice in the proper location that provides the key and essential services you desire. We guarantee that when you book your residence with us you will get the best price possible.
Car or Motorbike Reservation
If desired, we will arrange a vehicle for you and complete all contracts on your behalf. You can pick up your car or motorbike at our office or, for a nominal fee (200 BHT), we’ll deliver it to your place of residence (price conditional on location).
SIM Card
Provide your model of phone at time of booking and we will have a SIM card ready with 100 minutes of talk time and 20MB of data. This is intended to hold you over until you visit any True Cellular location to select the plan that suits your needs.
How it Works
- Purchase the pickup service online.
- At checkout, include flight details (flight number, time, etc) and arrival terminal (International or Domestic).
- Provide make and model of cell phone.
- We will process your order then schedule your pick-up time.
Please Note
- Maximum two passengers with checked luggage.
- Regular hours of service are 08:30h to 17:30h.
- 200 BHT additional charge outside of regular service hours.
High Season Heads Up
For accommodation bookings during high season (November 15 to March 1), Chiang Mai Buddy requires a minimum of 5 days to best match your specific needs with available accommodations. During low season (March 1 to November 14), 48 hours lead time is ample. Due to limited vacancy during high season and hotel popularity, choice of accommodation selected is not guaranteed until confirmation is made by Chiang Mai Buddy. A legible scan or photo of the photo page of your passport must be sent to team@chiangmaibuddy.com in conjunction with the completion of the online booking process. Motorbikes are monthly rental only. When taking possession you will be required to sign the motorbike rental agreement and provide the standard 1000 BHT security deposit.
Determining Your Arrival Terminal
If you are on an international flight that bypasses Customs and Immigration at Bangkok (i.e. baggage is checked through to Chiang Mai), you are on an international flight and will arrive via the international terminal.
If you are still on an international flight but go through customs at Bangkok, you will arrive via the domestic terminal. Likewise, if you are flying in to CNX from anywhere within Thailand, you will arrive via the domestic terminal.

Currently we are servicing airport pickups within a 15 kilometer radius of the airport. This covers most of Chiang Mai, including the inner city and surrounding areas.
