Noppakao Place in Santitham, Chiang Mai which is a busy and thriving area. Popular with local students and digital nomads because of the cheap living expenses. The area is busy and has a productive and energetic vibe, that can inspire and motivate the work ethic. Nightclubs and bars are plentiful, but western style bars are not. A Thai bar is usually fulled with beautiful women who fill your beer, chat with you (if they speak English) and have great and inexpensive food.
Noppakao Place is in a quiet street off the main road, secluded from the noise and activities but only a 100 meter walk to get there. Management cares about providing service and making your stay comfortable. Most residence are Japanese but there are westerners as well. Living in this area of town, an ability to speak Thai would be helpful, but the area is popular with nomads looking for a cheaper living costs – and they manage without speaking Thai.
Noppakao Place has a little extra in their rooms, each coming with a Bathtub (although a larger person will struggle to lie down in it) and fully furnished with a LAN plug. This means you can use your own router and use WiFi on more than one device at a time. Big fridge in each room, and can purchase breakfast and all day coffee from the breakfast dining room.
